aquilo – our story
Founded in 2013, Aquilo was determined to offer more than the others. We started by choosing leading brands that we would be proud to install such as Daikin, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi to ensure a high-quality air conditioning system for your indoor environment. Over the years, we have grown our customer base of builders and homeowners, installing and servicing air conditioning systems to the domestic and commercial markets of Sydney.
Our quality services range from practical solutions that cater to business and construction, to high-end ‘bespoke’ installations for the home. All of our designs integrate with the building’s natural aesthetic while providing a core of practical and long-lasting construction.
Glen Macris, our Managing Director, has been involved in the design and sales of air conditioning since 2001. As the dad of three kids, he understands the great importance of maintaining a healthy and happy indoor environment for families. The strong passion for helping families live more comfortably with the best air possible drove Glen to take over Aquilo in 2015 to lead the company forward.
He has always shown a keen interest in creating relationships with his customers – meeting different people and providing them with the best solution for air conditioning installation. His belief is that strong business partnerships are crucial in today’s climate and welcomes new relationships with reputable builders.
With advanced technology and leading-edge design, the Aquilo team has planted their feet firmly at the top and we are now proud to be known as the specialists in domestic and commercial design and installations. The challenges different projects present never hold Glen down, but motivate him and the team instead. There is no installation that we cannot tackle. All our installers are very familiar with all types of installations, as well as the different brands we offer. The result is a quality installation of the right product (style and brand) that meets the customer’s needs (aesthetics, functionality & budget).

Aquilo is the ancient Roman personification of the north wind. In the northern hemisphere this is the cooling wind, in the southern hemisphere it is our cooling southerlies.
